Cousin Time!

After spending all weekend with their Sanders cousins, the kids still wished they could spend more time together. (The promise of them seeing each other again when the baby comes was making them wish the baby would be born right away, and he's not quite ready yet!) And the Sanders got new baby chicks that Ember really wanted to see in person. And I didn't have anything special planned for spring break. 

So we hopped in the van and headed to Logan for the day!  Julie kept it a secret from her kids and it was so fun to surprise each of them (Clara when we arrived and the boys as they each came home from school). Since Brett was going to the Jazz game in the evening, we stayed until after dinner. The kids spent a beautiful 7 1/2 hours together (mostly outside) and Julie and I had plenty of visiting time! 

The kids LOVED the chicks! Ember held them at least 5 separate times. 

And they all just enjoyed being together. 

I love that my kids are such great friends with their cousins and that we live close enough to make these fun memories often!
