Peaches!

We really didn't need more canned peaches but it's just so fun to can them! This is one cooking task that I appreciate the kids' help with. Everyone has a job and does it well. Ember is an expert blanch-er and peeler, Aaron puts sugar in the jars (and eats some while he waits), Abby pours water into jars and cleans the rims before putting on jar lids and rings, I cut and put the peaches and put them in the jars. (And Eli went to bed early.) 

Seven jars in half an hour tonight! And the kids were only a little late to bed...
