Anniversary Hike

Happy Anniversary to us! Four years! We took a fun hike a few years ago on our anniversary, and I told Brett I thought that would be fun to do again. I didn't realize how close the trail head is to our house now! It only took a few minutes to drive there!

Emmy rode in the hiking backpack and loved it! She told us she wanted to stay in it until we got to Grandma's house. Daddy didn't agree! But he was grateful to find that it wasn't that bad hiking with a 25 pound pack. Good preparation for Kings Peak, right?

We had a great time hiking to the waterfall and back. It's a short hike, but it was a good one to find out how Emmy felt about the backpack. Now that we know she loves it, we'll be doing more!
