Growing Up

These cute kiddos are growing up!

Eli can hold his head up while laying on his tummy.

Aaron is so long his feet stick out the other side when he lays under it. (Yes, it was a very exciting discovery.)

And Abby is long enough too!

Abby can hold Eli standing up.

Eli tried out the horse at Grandma's house. He was not a fan.
(Isn't he just adorable when he cries? He has the CUTEST pouty face. Not that we enjoy him being sad but he's just darling.)
He cheered up when Ember held him side-saddle, but he was still a little worried. Give him a year or so, and he will love that horse.

Eli also figured out how to get his fists to his mouth (sometimes) and how to grab his clothes, my clothes, siblings' fingers, and Ember's hair. He's also (mostly) figured out how to turn his hands when he rubs his face to avoid scratching himself and clawing his eyes. Learning hand control is quite the process!

These two are such cute brothers! Aaron hasn't had a moment of jealousy. He LOVES to be with Eli, and it's fun to watch them together. I do have to WATCH them together, though. Aaron always means well but sometimes gets a little too hands-on with Eli. They will have so much fun as Eli grows up and they can actually play together. I'm so happy they have each other!

Aaron keeps telling me "soon we will all grow up and then you won't have any kids! There will just be three Daddys and three Mommys in our family." I'm not quite ready for that! I'm doing my best to enjoy the cuddles and chaos of now.
