Feasting on the Scriptures

Each night, we read scriptures with Emmy. We usually only read one or two verses each so we're only in Mosiah even though we started in December (and we skipped the Isaiah chapters in 2 Nephi). Regardless, it is a good way to begin the habit of family scripture study.

Last night we read in Mosiah 8. I read verse 9 for Emmy to repeat. Here's how the last half went:

Mom: " they have brought twenty-four plates"
Emmy: " they have brought twenty-four plates"
Mom: "which are filled with engravings"
Emmy (licking her lips): "which are filled with gravy"
*laughter from Mom and Dad*
