Hiking with Ty and Katy

Our kids sure adore their aunts and uncles, and we are sure happy to add Katy as an aunt!  We invited Ty and Katy to join us on a hike up Battlecreek Canyon on July 20, and the whole family had so much fun!  (The original plan was for Brett and Emmy to go on a longer hike with them, but it didn't work out so the rest of us got to go on a shorter hike with them.)

Abby got brave enough to climb on top of a big rock...as long as Tyler had a hand on her. :)

 Emmy was a mountain goat (as usual) and scampered along the trail and onto any rocks close by.

 And how could we pass up this perfect sliding hill? 

The girls' pants had to have a good beating before they got in the van!

There was just enough time after our hike to stop for snow cones on the way home, and it was the perfect treat on a warm evening!
