Emmy's bibs are pretty much the most practical, best thing ever. My sister had/had them for her boys, and so when Emmy started eating solids and getting pretty messy, my mom and I made some for her. They are my favorite baby shower gift because I know how much they will be enjoyed and appreciated. They are super easy to make. You cut a circle out of the middle of a hand towel and sew ribbing around it. Ta da! So easy (except cutting the right size of circle is trickier; it has to be bigger than the baby's neck in order to go over her head, so you have to pull it back a bit when it's on so you don't get spills down the front.)
Recently, Emmy has even been putting her bib away by herself. (They're great because she can put them on and off by herself now, but she couldn't pull them off when she was little. It drove me crazy when she would pull off her velcro bibs and get all messy.) But she has also discovered another use for her bibs. I think she's saying "head band" but it could be something entirely different.
She will wander around the kitchen for several minutes either running into things (first picture) or just looking really cute (second picture). Yes, we do laugh often at our house!
